Dr. Deidre Louise Feeney, MD

Dr. Feeney is the Doctor of my 63 year old friend who had a stroke a year ago. My friend moved in with me 5 months ago and I have been taking her to Dr. Feeney ever since. It is not convenient, but she was my friend's doctor for many years before her stroke. I was going to start taking her to a more convenient doctor, but my friend's health is fragile and Dr. Feeney has always been willing to fight for her. She has been in and out of the hospital and Dr. Feeney stays aware of what is happening with her and communicates with the hospital doctors and other specialists as needed. In my opinion, she is a wonderful doctor who not only cares about her patients, but is an excellent doctor too.

Dr. Feeney is a real find! She has been my physician for over 15 years, as well as my husband's, my kids' and now my grandchildren's physician. Why do we stay? Dr. Feeney is caring, gentle, compassionate, very intelligent, and an excellent listener. She does not hesitate to refer us to specialists when needed, follows-up with them promply, and does an excellent job of managing our overall health. In the impersonal, cookie-cutter, medical world we live in today, you will find Dr. Feeney to be both professional and personal in her family practice.

We were struggling with some health problems with my teenage daughter. We had visited another doctor who said give it 6 weeks and we will see what happens. Went to Dr. Feeney and with in a week we had a diagnosis of Crohn's disease and was seeing a wonderful pediatric specialist at Swedish. My daughter was 14 and was losing weight, almost under 100 lbs. Dr. Feeney has been willing to see my daughter with little health issues related to her disease that didn't merit driving all the way to Seattle. We love her and appreciate the kind and caring doctor that she is.

Dr. Feeney has been my doctor for over 6 years and I can trust her and her diagnosis. She has referred me to competent specialists and always followed up. She always spends the time to listen to me and been very caring. Her staff has been professional and attentive. I feel very lucky to have her as my physician.

She is not a gentle person. She is completely uncaring about my fear of being naked in front of doctors (she just tells me that no one likes it) and she forces me to go in for a full physical every year. Her examinations are painful (after one pelvic exam with her, I spent the day cramping). She rarely explains things in detail (even when asked to). Her staff is also rude and uncaring. One of her nurses snaps at me almost every time she sees me (especially when asked to explain things). I do not recommend Dr. Feeney or her practice.
