Dr. Deirdre Ellen Hooper, MD

Dr. Hooper has been my derm for approximately 5 years. She has treated my skin condition ( give her a grade of "A" for that), was approachable and answered all questions. I've also had botox done by her ("A" grade again). She takes time to answer questions and I feel gives me real answers (doesn't try to up-sell me). The last time I visited, I had a ton of questions about laser treatments. She spent a lot of time with me, gave lots of great info and recommendations. I would definitely recommend her, for cosmetic dermatology or other.

I was discouraged learning that old stretch marks are hard to treat. Dr. Hooper was very honest and told me I could propably expect 30% improvement. I figured that was better than nothing so I went ahead and tried the laser treatments recommend. I am so happy with the results! The scars are still there but they are blended so well that it is not the first thing you see when you look at my stomach. I was very pleased with the whole experience, I feel like it's hard to find a doctor who is honest about what results can be achieved.

I was able to get to see her quickly and she help me find a good treatment.

As a new patient I felt that Dr. Hooper did not genuinely care about the issue of my concern. It is evident that she is well educated, but carelessly talks "at you" while dismissing questions/ comments. Dr. Hooper made me feel like a random person who just walked off the street into her office; not like an important patient. The ironic thing is that I am a Medical Student who appreciates higher level dialog not the unprofessionalism I received in her office. Also, she was in and out without asking if I had any follow up questions. When I asked the nurse (who was very friendly) to bring her back in SHE REFUSED. Won't be returning to Audubon Dermatology.
