Dr. Deirdre Z Joiner-Nichols, MD

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (that did graduate at the top of my class with 3.76) that saw MS not Dr. Nichols twice and I was very disappointed. She is a miserable person that can not handle complaints of another medical professional WHO KNOWS MORE THAN SHE DOES. I went into the see her for an ACUTE sinusitis that started 2 weeks ago. I had a fever in office/ before this visit. She states that she won't write me antibiotics because it is CHRONIC. Really chronic, yet I have a fever? Yet, she NEVER looked in my nose, palpated my sinuses, check my throat for postnasal drip/swelling/redness yet, I had an elevated temp in her office. She did not check ,my ears but only listen to my lungs. I have sinusitis not BRONCHOTIS, I know she was confused. She must have gotten all C's at University of Alabama. I know she did not graduate at the top of her class. She is unprofessional, incompetent, NEGATIVE energy and stupid. I would not let my DOG see this sad excuse of a MD. Ms. Nichols need to… get her license removed and she needs to go to an Old folks home to continue wearing that miserable, unhappy with life face. She discharge me for "miss an appointment" but the true is I complained to her office manager about her unprofessionalism and incompetency as a Doctor at EMORY . I refused to schedule any appointment in the future with her. WARNING:RUN and see a REAL DOCTOR or NP, anyone but her! Lovie Neu, FNP

I thoroughly enjoy Dr. Nichols and her staff. Especially Regina, she is always so kind and courteous. Dr. Nichols spend ample amount of time with my visit with her. I really like the fact the she always make me feel like I am her only patient.

Routine physical appointments take a couple of months to get but I have always been able to promptly make an appointment for other concerns. She is caring and provides good care. Follow-up from the office (results of tests, bloodwork) needs improvement. I always have to call the office of after a couple of weeks to get my results.

I have a perscription for ADD that Dr. Nichols rewnews each year. I have to wait 2 hours to get called back to see her and an addition 1-2 hours for bloodwork to be completed since she has moved to Huntsville Hospital in Madison's Physicians Care.

DR NICHOLS WAS MY DR WHEN I LIVED IN ALABAMA AND I LOVED THE CARE AND CONCERN GIVEN TO ME.SHE'S A GREAT PHYSICIAN.
