Continuing my previous comment... I’m a registered nurse and know excellent care. I am so grateful that I’ve been able to have Dr Aldridge as my psychiatrist for 12 years. Her medical/psychiatric skills, her compassion for me as a whole person, her knowledge of the most recent treatments, has been invaluable in my quality of life. When I was properly diagnosed by Dr Aldridge, given the effective treatment for my disease, AND if followed her suggestions/plan of care, my life has been amazingly wonderful. I finally have gotten to a point, “Oh this is how it feels to be a normal human being, living with a chronic, life long psychiatric illness”. I have also taken advantage of much support given to me from Amita/Alexian Behavioral health team. Thank you so much Dr Aldridge and the rest of the team for giving me my life back.

I have been a patient for over 11 years. She has been great.

Dr. Aldridge is the best psychiatrist I have ever had, and I have had a lot. She is tough but that is because she cares. She spends a lot of time with me and I am comfortable with her. She is the first doctor I have really trusted and I trust her with anything. After years of failed treatment she was able to properly diagnose me and prescribe the right medications. She is a fantastic doctor and I would recommend her to anyone with an eating disorder or a problem with self-injury. She was able to help me when no one else could.

This doctor was the worst doctor I have ever seen. This doctor told me, "If you don't do exactly as I say you need to do then you are not miserable enough to need help."
