friendly, kind and knows what she is doing

Dr. Pruitt is very hard to get a hold of. I was told by her receptionist that she rarely call people back that you have to go through Joyce which is her Mother in Law, not a practicing physician or any type of medical professional. It seem kind of odd that a physician RARELY will call a person back.

GREAT DOCTOR BY FAR...Staff not so courteous or confidential.

Great doctor

Takes forever for her to come in the room to see you; and then she doesn't spend much time with you. Always brushes me off when I try to discuss a certain issue. I never left without her talking about something dealing with her, like her going to the movies (I'm not paying you for a movie review).

My first appointment with her she seemed very rushed, I just wrote it off as she was having a busy day. My second appointment she once again was very rushed and even made a comment about over booking herself. My second appointment was for a physical but I guess in her hurry she didnt get a chance to look to see why I was there and went over the results of the blood work she had done on my first visit. After she was done talking at me I had to tell her why I had scheduled the appointment and she seemed annoyed. The thing that made it overly clear that I needed to find a new doctor was when I had to have my pharmacy request a refill for one of my meds. Her office totally changed the dosage. When I called the office to find out why, they claimed to be confused by the script that was sent to them and refilled it as they had recieved it yet the dosage was different from what it had been for years.

I'd like to find out what people think of Dr. Pruitt after they been there a few times. Yes, my first time was okay but after that all she talks about is only getting paid so much from the insurance companies and not being able to write me scripts for the meds I need or not wanting to write any more referrals for my neurologist and rheumatologist because she only gets paid so much from the insurance company. I asked for scripts of combination drugs to help my chronic headaches. She said she can't deal with it and I have to see someone else for that but just minutes before she tells me she isn't going to write anymore referrals. She didn't even know my name after 6 visits and spending 10 min in the room with me. She asked me my name when she went to look something up on her computer. After 5 visits, I won't be going back again. Time to move on. She apparently only deals with people who are healthy or don't need much. I really wasn't even sure she was a doctor. The way she talks, I think… maybe she's just an insurance representative. No doctor should treat a patient the way this woman has treated me.

Dr. Pruitt is the first Dr. that I've been to in the last 3 yrs. that has actually treated me like a human being. I didn't get to spend much time with her but I will on my next visit I'm sure. Her staff are wonderful, helpful and and they always have a smile on their face. I did have a couple of issues with her time off schedule and wasn't make aware that she does not prescrible some medications that I am on but will have to take care of that with her. I also called her staff one day to get a script filled, told them exactly what I needed (they had it in my file too) and when I went to pick it up they didn't call in the write script or dosage.....I was a bit upset about that as we were leaving town the next day but all is fine now. GOOD JOB DOC., AND ALL OF YOUR STAFF!!

She's a very personable doctor and easy to talk too. The office she shares with her dad, Dr. Seals, is always friendly and upbeat.
