Dr. Delynn M. Shattuck was born and raised right here in SaginawMichigan.She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1983. As an undergraduate, Dr. Shattuck also attended the University of Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, after which she practiced as a Dental Hygienist for 3 years before entering graduate school.
Dr. Shattuck's professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, The Michigan Dental Association, the Institute for Laser Dentistry, The Orthodontic Society of American, along with numerous other local and national organizations and societies.
…As an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, she joins those graduates characterized as having a strong commitment to the absolute highest standards of excellence. Notably, Dr. Shattuck has completed 6 continuums at this institute. She has completed a three year long study of orthodontics and continues advanced education in this subject. She has recently made a very significant investment in, and is continuing with, advanced training on the CEREC, a machine which allows the office to offer same day crowns with no second visits necessary. Additionally, Dr. Shattuck has received personal training and studied under Dr. James Boyd, the inventor of the NTI appliance, which is responsible for alleviating in many patients severe headaches and migraines without the use of drugs.
Dr. Shattuck is proud to have been named a "Best of the Best Dentist" in all eight of The Saginaw News's Annual Reader's Polls. She continues to serve as the Saginaw Spirit OHL Hockey Club's team Dentist for the 8th consecutive season. And she again has been named to an advisory board position for the Delta College Dental Hygiene Program.
Dr. Shattuck loves to learn and is continually raising her own bar on success as she expands her knowledge and skill level by attending educational courses that far exceed the average for her profession. In her quest to remain a lifelong student, Dr. Shattuck is committed to continuing education in an effort to expand her knowledge and expertise, and to provide her patients with the very best oral health care.
Her significant time and investments in her practice allow Dr. Shattuck to be an artist in the truest sense of the word. Dr. Shattuck is dedicated to excellence in all she does.

Finally, away from the office, Dr. Shattuck and her husband Bill enjoy boating, classic cars, traveling, photography, and time spent with their yellow and chocolate laborador retriever dogs: Abbie, Maddie, and Sophie!
