Dr. Demetrajane Kokinakis, DO

I worked for Dr. Kokinakis in 2008. I was fired after working a long holiday weekend with the office coder.I was told that it was brought to their attention that I was making disparaging remarks about the doctor. I NEVER said an unkind word about the doctor or the office. I was escorted out like a criminal. I sat in my car crying for about 15 minutes wondering why and also, how I was going to feed my two, young children. I was fired because the medical coder lied and didn’t want me there. I don’t recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Kokinakos is a caring and skilled doctor. She exlains everything about the procedure [cataract surgery] carefully and is very accessible for follow up contact.I am totally pleased with her.

The office staff is amazing very friendly and welcoming! Not much of a wait time and Dr.K speaks in terms I understand unlike most doctors who speak only in medical terms. I will always go back to Dr.K.

She was a delight. She was very clear and to the point and pointed my husband and I in the right direction. I love her.

The amount of time spent in this office for 10 minutes with the DO amounts to abuse. Three hours to be called into an inner waiting room, then another hour. Absurd and speaks to how much she values her patients. Horrible.

She just bought the practice of my doctor so stayed there. Appointments now take about 2 hours and the many new office tests have cost me several hundred dollars, not to mention additional charges to insurance that seem to be just to get more money. My last appointment was cancelled with rescheduling options on Friday or Saturday. I am now in the process of moving my records to another ophthalmoligist.
