Dr. Dena Jo Lichfield, DO

Dr. Dena is a friendly, compassionate physician who takes the time to discuss your health and get to know you as a person, not just a collection of symptoms. She stays up to date on new treatments and does her best to accommodate your requests. Excellent bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dena's since 2012. She has always been thorough, kind, and informative. She used to have a problem with her front office staff. They really were the worst. However, her and her husband did listen to her clients and the front office has greatly improved! Bree is a dream! Dr. Dena, never let her go!! Yes, Dr. Dena has called me on a Saturday, her office is not open, but she goes in and checks messages and gets extra work done. I definitely appreciated the call. Because she does this, if you leave a message on a Friday night, often she will get back to you over the weekend. No guarantees, but she might. That is a bonus. How many doctors will do that? I highly recommend her and I will never leave her.

I began seeing Dr. Dena about two years ago. While thorough, professional, and engaging, there were issues with office staffing that made getting appointments and assistance difficult. But the Lichfields listened and have done a drastic turn around. Office is calm, soothing, and professional. Dr. Dena's demeanor is always real, nurturing, professional, and personable. She takes the time to explain everything and gives you all of your options. Her medical Assistant Bree is a wonderful person that makes you feel at home, reassured, and heard. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a new doctor and the Lichfields have an opening, you should definitely change to them.

15 years, after several years of putting up with her staff, her only be available during certain times because of her girls even though those appt times did not work for me, her assistant calling me telling me my prescriptions are ready only to go to the pharmacy and they were not even called in only to get a nasty comment from Dr Dena that they have 7 days to refill ( 7 days), of course the nasty front desk; example I had the same insurance for 16 years I knew what my co pay was...the nasty argued with me for several minutes to point of telling me that I would not be seen, Dr Quinn stepped in, to having a voicemail stating my appointment time show up early only to be told no my appointment time is half an hour to forty five minutes later, after all that I stayed until they day it all came to a head and she used conversations we had during our visits against me to win a discussion , only to have her betray me to the Social Security office (I got my file, I saw the notes she sent). I… left and will never look back

Dr. Dena is great. So is her primary assistant (not sure if medical assistant or nurse.) They are attentive, intelligent, calm, and always there to make you feel like you're being heard and seen. That said, the front office staff is absolutely horrible. They treat you like your a burden interrupting their life. They can rarely find my records when I call and are not good at passing information back and forth. This would be five stars if they could get caring and intelligent people to work at the reception desk.

She is the absolute worst doctor ever!!! I had to go say goodbye to my father who had weeks to live while I was pregnant and along with horrible treatment while I was there decided to call me on a Saturday and left me a message that, she was trying to get a hold of me because there was something wrong with my lab results and my baby, and to please get a hold of her as soon as I could but her office is closed until Tuesday.It ended up being something that is quite normal and common. Every appointment she talked about babies almost dying because the mother wanted a natural birth and she told them to get C-sections, She should NOT in prenatal care, for she might be a good doctor but has the WORST bedside manner I have ever seen.

She has great bedside manner, but she is very rushed her office never calls with lab results until up to a month every time I call the office they leave me on hold for at least 10 minutes. I'd never refer anyone to her office. She referred me to a specialist for no reason. I didn't hear anything about my results from the specialist. This office is horrible. None of the staff knows what they are doing. It is a zoo in this place. also have to wait weeks on end to get an appointment just for a check up scheduled with her.

Dr Dena is very helpful, friendly and takes time to explain everything for you to understand. I 100% recommend her to everyone.

I've seen her only a couple of times and I liked her. She spent a fair amount of time listening to me and was really concerned to get to the bottom of my problem. However her staff is terrible; unfriendly and disorganized. The 2 girls at the front did not acknowledge my presence when I was trying to check out so after 30-40 seconds of playing invisible I left. As I was driving away they called me to let me know that I "forgot " to pay my copay. The second time they did not bother calling me with my results so I ended up sick for 3 months before I resumed my treatment. I will give it one more chance to this practice because I like the doctor but if the staff does not improve I am going somewhere else where I feel more comfortable

I have been seeing Deanna for six years. I have waited for three weeks just to get a refill for my anti depressant. Going without them because she doesn't check her messages everyday. I need to find a new Dr.
