Dr. Denise Gonzalez, MD

This doctor is absolutely abysmal I took my wife to find out why she was having an allergic reaction they gave her a breathing test and told her she has severe asthma and sinus infection and provided a laundry list of medications. Visited Dr.Alabi for a second opinion advised she should not be taking any of these medicines and after an extensive breathing test advised her lungs are normal I urge everyone to never visit this doctor horrible practice

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I’m a lawyer and I made an appointment for a new patient visit. I took an entire afternoon off for the appointment. When I arrived three weeks later they told me that I was not in their system and the doctor could not see me. I explained the situation, but no effort was made to correct their error. The receptionist has terrible customer service skills. She was condescending and absolutely not helpful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR. GO ELSEWHERE.

I have not even gone to see the doctor and have had the worst service in the world. Took my multiple attempts to make an appointment finally made one and asked about cost. I was told to respond to the email with my insurance card. I did this within less than 24 hours and asked for a reply. Heard nothing back and I filled out all the paperwork and also resent insurance cars and asking for a total about 3 weeks later and still no response. I called today since my appointment is on Thursday to get an amount. The first 2 times I called the recording said the call could not be connected. I then search to see if I had the wrong number, which looks like I had was correct, but then saw the not so great reviews here. I know that most people will post reviews when things go wrong and not always when positive, so I took that with a grain of salt. I tried the number back and finally got through. At the start of my call, I gave my name and even spelled my last name, since it is not normal… or easy. I explained everything and never got an apology for their no response but showed that they did receive my items. After about 20 mins of a lot of back and forth, she finally told me a total, which was a surprising amount. Was asked if I wanted to keep the appointment. I said I have 24 hours before cancel and she said no I have till tomorrow, even though their paper says 24 hours. I explained I was frustrated and all the problems that I had today and she was like then we should cancel. I was telling it was the customer service given. I also said this is not my normal and takes me a lot to get there and then replied that I believe it was my usual. So at the point, I said screw this and made sure it is canceled and hung up. This is not how you treat customers/patients. Do not use this Doctor.

Dr. Gonzalez is the best doctor I have ever encountered. Her level of commitment to my care is incredible. I feel like I have a partner in my care. She explains the Ins and outs of my condition, and explains what each treatment will do. She sets the bar high for what a doctor should be.

This was a bad experience, beware this doctor because she looks like she's knows what she is talking about but if yiur do some research you'll find out she is just rambling and make stuff up as she goes just to make you think you are sick and has asthma or worse. Then she will prescribe you lots of meds that make no sense. Please be very careful if you go to this Gonzales doctor. Always get a second opinion you'll be surprised.

After seeing my daughter and I for 2 years and thousands of dollars and medications later, an experienced and affluent doctor gave us a second opinion with extensive breathing tests and determined we did not have asthma just allergies!! Do not go see Dr Gonzalez.

There are not enough words to use to describe how much Dr, Gonzales treatment improved my health and life. I had been doctoring for several years without improvement. So, of course, my family dr prescribed anti anxiety meds which only worsened my condition. After one office call to Dr. Gonzalez and simple treatment with an antibiotic as well as an undiagnosed case of asthma, my health has improved greatly. Both my husband and I feel my quality of life is amazingly better than it has been for the last 12 years.

Waited in the waiting room for less than 10 minutes but then waited in a separate room for the doctor to see me for over an hour EVERY time I had an appointment. She's very kind and determined to get you better, but sitting around for over an hour doesn't help you get there.

Dr Gonzolis examined me on several occasions and ran some test. She then told me that I had the lungs of a person 30 years older than me. told me that I would have to see her every few weeks and start taking a prescription that cost hundreds of dollars a month. I thought I was ready to die. It did not make sense. I bike on an elliptical bike outdoors 4 times a week, about 5 miles each time. I went to a Pulomonoligest (Lung Specialest). He put me through a series of test including the one she did. The results were nothing at wrong. My lungs are perfectly healthy. I showed the Doctor the test she had done and he interpreted the test to indicate that nothing is wrong. How could that be? Is she just trying to scare me to get me to keep coming back each month? Is she getting some kind of benefit to proscribe such an expensive drug when it is not needed? You be the judge. I went back, with all my test results in hand, to tell her all this an get a refund. I told the… recipients and was told she would get back to me. That was two months ago.

The staff was great very helpful. The wait time ranges from 30 mins to 4 hours. Many times after being taken to an exam room and seen by one of her MA's I sit for up to 3 hours waiting for the doctor.
