Dr. Denise Vivian Halliburton, DDS

Dr. Denise Halliburton is a native of New York City. She graduated from Hampton University, and holds degrees in Biological Sciences, Bachelor of Science and Medical Science, Master of Science. She went to dental school at Howard University College of Dentistry where she graduated to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. She went back home to New York City, where she completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center.Dr. Halliburton was commissioned as an officer in the US Army in 2003 after being an enlisted soldier upon graduating high school. Dr. Halliburton loves to volunteer with TeamSmile, The Hope Clinic, as well as work in collaboration with other efforts to promote health care. She has travelled to Belize more than once to give dental care to the people in the village of Seine Bight. She also gives her time to educating children in schools, churches and non-profit organizations on proper oral hygiene and the importance that dentistry plays to the overall …whole body health.Dr. Halliburton holds membership with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Howard County Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and SPEAR.
