Dr. Denise Hunninghake, MD

Excellent.

Dr. Hunninghake is an excellent physician who listens to patient's perspective, answers questions clearly and with empathy, explains medical information in a very understandable manner, and uses her expertise to problem solve and determine plan in collaboration with the patient.

My physician is very kind, caring and takes her time listening. She was in no hurry. She is everything anyone would want in their physician

She explained what test I had to have but was not clear of how many and in what order it needs to be done.

In my opinion Dr. Hunninghake is an excellent care provider! She answered all my questions and explained the reasons for the procedures suggested I felt very comfortable with my interaction with her!

I can't say enough good, positive accolades about Dr. Hunninghake. I am 71 years old and have never had a doctor like her. She is "the total package" of what a doctor should be! Great listener, comfortable demeanor, uses words that I'll understand, kind, gentle knowledgeable - the list goes on!

I appreciated that she gave me options and (when asked) her opinion, but didn't pressure or guilt-trip me into anything. Most of all, I appreciate not being locked into the single linear "ladder" of steps I encountered elsewhere, where everyone was lock-stepped through the same sequence of things to try (many of which were irrelevant or even harmful) before being allowed to get real help. I feel much more acknowledged as a human here.
