Dr. Markoff received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981 from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland. She began her dental career in the public health field. Realizing she particularly enjoyed the diverse challenges of a comprehensive general practice, Dr. Markoff opened her private practice in 1985.
Continually striving for excellence, Dr. Markoff pursued extensive continuing education courses throughout the United States. The results of her clinical expertise have generated beautiful smiles for many of her patients. In 2006, Dr. Markoff achieved a major professional milestone. She received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), a distinction achieved by less than 15% of dentists nationwide.
At the core of Dr. Markoff’s philosophy of practice, are her patients. Her unique, caring philosophies and state-of-the-art techniques coupled with the friendly and personalized attention she gives her …patients ensures their comfort and peace of mind.
Dr. Markoff resides in Federal Hill with her husband, Fran and son, Alex. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She takes pleasure in reading, gardening and various outside activities.
