Dr. Denise Panuccio, MD

Office policy is not to return pharmacy calls. Also charged $10 for a written prescription for a REFILL outside an office visit even though appointment was already scheduled in a month!

She is compassionate, very knowledgeable,works with her patients...I am very fortunate to have been her patient for over 20 years now.

Dr Panuccio herself is great - she explains things thoroughly, is personable & shows interest in her patients. However wait times to see her are totally unacceptable. They overbook so much that I have had to wait an hour before being moved into an examining room and then once there I have to wait another 1/2 hr. Additionally, many times I have delayed setting an appt with HER for over a month because she is booked up. I would be able to get an earlier appt with one of her assistants, but I don't care for them as much. Then, after having waited to get this appt to see the actual Dr, I'll get there and she's "tied up with another patient but you would be able to see an assistant." That's why I delayed my appt date in the first place! Also, I have been her patient for almost 10 years and in that time the waiting room has become a big advertising area for botox, cosmetic procedures, weight loss, etc. I go to a Dr for medical, not cosmetic, reasons. Due to the ridiculous wait… times and the sales atmosphere of the waiting area, I am looking for another Dr even though I really like and trust Dr Panuccio.

Was recommended to Dr Panuccio but was unable to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion. Was able to see PA but have yet to meet the doctor. Unwilling to renew meds prescribed by her office before appointment - unless willing to spend $10 administrative fee. I have decided to fire her and look for a new physician.

I had switched over to dr. Panuccio by recommendation of my obgyn, my first visit I came in with my then 2 months old baby, the staff was so nice and helpful in getting me in a timely manner, dr. Panuccio spent a vast amount of time with me making sure she could thoroughly understand my symptoms before offering any treatment or medication, didn't rush me out the door like most doctors offices, I got a lab there as well. Great practice and doctor

Used to be a great doctor. Takes forever to get an appt. Will not renew Rx from pharmacies--requires you to get an appt which takes too long and in the meantime you suffer without your meds. Staff doesn't make a follow up appt that coincides with expiration of Rx so you are out of luck. Dr. office gives quicker appt option of patients to see a PA but that consists of a couple of questions and an RX renewal for a total visit time of 10 minutes. Unhappy and looking for a doctor and doctor's office that believes in total comprehensive patient care.

I used to see Dr. Panuccio. She referred me to a specialist who I saw for several years. When my issue was fully resolved I was referred back to Dr. Panuccio for follow up. I tried to make an appointment in March, 2010 and the soonest I could get in is August. They were unwilling to renew my prescriptions until my appointment which left me to find another physician. I will not be returning to Dr. Panuccio or recommend her to anyone.
