Dr. Denise Desiree Wallis, MD

Excellent physician.

Dr. Wallis is one of the nicest, most patient and understanding doctors I have ever been to. She truly listens to you and takes the time to get to know you. I had been to several doctors before her that misdiagnosed me, gave me meds and just sent me on my way. I would always return with same symptoms if not more. One doctor even scared me by saying I may have a brain tumor. Thankfully my insurance changed and I was assigned to Dr Wallis. I came to her with all my symptoms, she correctly diagnosed me, and within a week the correct medication was a miracle worker. I feel so blessed to have had her as a doctor and wish she was still in my area.

This doctor, Dr. Denise Wallis threw me out because I wanted to try some natural medicines before I agreed to take Western medicine made in a lab. I am taking some lab medicines also. The high blood pressure medicine makes you retain water and then you need to take a diuretic on top of it, so I asked this doctor what natural medicine could try: 4000 units of Fish Oil was what she recommended and it's working. She then sent me a registered letter saying I was no longer going to get health care from Peace Health because I wouldn't follow the doctor's recommendations. No one ever gave me a choice or explained that this would happen, if I wanted to take natural medicine. I have no job, but I am in a training program trying to better myself. Unfortunately, I am also sick. There are some medicines I need to stay alive and some I might be able heal or control with natural medicine; Now I will no longer have access to the prescriptions I will need until I finish this training program.… Apparently, we no longer have that choice or option with western medical care. You the younger generation better watch this or it will be the doctors who will control your lives.
