While Dr. Basci and her staff are very congenial, she presented herself as much more experienced and knowledgeable than she was. Devastated and far worse off is the best way I can describe my experience. I am now left to find a new surgeon to correct her mistakes at my own expense both physically and financially.

Dr. Basci performed my face/neck lift, upper eyes lift, erbium laser treatment and facial fat grafting. She treated me several times after surgery with IPL to remove redness. I am completely satisfied with outcome of all these procedures.

I had a plate placed 11 months ago and am about to have to go through my second corrective surgery because of damage done from a plate being misplaced in my orbital socket. The edges were never smoothed out causing a ridiculous amount of scar tissue, not being able to rub my eye because it would cut my eyelid, and a screw being placed in the soft tissue constantly rubbing my eye. I had to have a second surgery just to fix that. And now a third because of the scar tissue caused by the plate that won’t allow my eye to fully close and is turning inward. I tried to reach out to UTSW and they simply “covered the costs of my portion of the surgery ($900)” when they got over $30k from my insurance company. I am still dealing with the reprocutions of their mistakes.
