I have been a patient of Dr. Abella's for a long time. He is wonderful. Here is the issue. You expect your patients to pay the bills on time, how about getting your phones fixed and having someone return a phone call in a timely manner. Never happens. We have requested my daughter's records time and time again and NOTHING. Then, we got a call from Dr. Abella regarding Covid. It was a 5 minute phone call and both my husband and I were on the call. We both got charged for a doctor visit. Come on.

He is arrogant & thinks he knows more than the specialists he sends you to. His staff is disrespectful in many ways and this office offers no privacy. Anyone just opens the door in the middle of exams and stands there talking with the doctor with a patient not dressed. I felt fat shamed numerous times and intimidated by the so called doctor. I will not be returning.

They only have about 22-25 Hours a week available for appointments. Doctor has checked out he is done. Some of the office personnel are nice others are extremely rude.

Dr Abella is caring, friendly and listens. He answers my questions, takes my feelings in consideration and is intelligent and knowledgeable. I have been seeing him for the last 10 years and hope he never retires!

Front office staff lacks customer service skills. I am aware that the administrative staff assists a lot of patients but that does not mean they can totally forget about doing things. I faxed them my prescription renewal request 3 times and called to confirm if my prescription was renewd. I left numerous voicemail for the front office staff but 3 months later no one has called back yet. I would recommend Dr. Dennis Abella to anyone but I will not because of his administrative help is USELESS.

I find Dr. Abella to be patient and thorough. He asks all the right questions and will always listen to mine. He diagnosed me correctly and quickly in his office after I spent hours in the ER with no results. He makes logical suggestions in a gentle way and I never feel apprehensive going to see him. I hope he never retires!
