I have been going to Dr. Bernardo for 35 years. The nurses know us like family. Excellent care

I consistently have to wait 45min to over an hour past my actual appointment time to see the doctor. He doesn’t appear to be very focused on his patient and is just going through the motions.

Concerned and friendly.

Doctor does not genuinely care about patient's well being. Dangerously prescribes addictive hard pain killers off the bat without trying other pain management options. Go somewhere that genuinely wants to help you, not drug you.

I found the office to be clean, maybe a bit dated. Staff was very helpful & contacted insurance to obtain pre-certification for CT scan. Blood work results were in & completed from blood drawn 2 days before physical. Dr Bernardo took the time to obtain my family history in depth from me. He was great listener, empathetic to me about the loss of my brother. He went over all blood work & explained it clearly. He not only covered all bases but ordered a chest x-ray that right now looks as though it may have saved my life. I understand frustration when you need to wait for an appointment, however if he is running late it is probably because he was taking the time to examine someone like myself. I would gladly wait for this Dr because I know he is worth it. I had an x-ray at noon & he called me before he left office at 6 pm to tell me results & to go for CT scan. He had his staff take care of all the insurance certifications etc. If he had rushed my physical the x-ray would not have… been ordered. He ordered it to merely cover all bases never expecting to see any abnormalities. I am extremely grateful he was on the ball.

he is a good doctor- but wasnt happy to wait over 45 minutes after making an appointment - we all have work and i am sure if i didnt make the appointment i would have been charged a fee-our time is important as well.

Dont go here!! Not only is the office disgusting and dirty but the office staff is rude and inept. They do things such as refuse to contact the insurance company for precerts even when then insurance company asks that they do. They have forgotten to let the phlebotamist know that there are people waiting for them in the lobby. They take patients out of order. They misbill. They do not return calls... I can go on and on

If you want a staff that treats you like garbage, makes you wait, and then gives you 5 minutes of visitation this is the doctor for you. It doesn't matter if you have gone there for 10 years or this is your first time, they just want your money.
