Dr. Dennis Ray Brinkerhoff, OD

I had the unfortunate opportunity of being a patient of Dr. Dennis R. Brinkerhoff on 11-20-2003, at which time he not only had the most horrible bedside manner and unprofessional mannerisms I have ever experienced. The doctor was never able to give me a good prescription for eyeglasses appropriate for me to be able to see, after 3 or 4 trips of my complaining that I couldn't see well. After the last visit to his office, he told me "I don't know what else you want me to do?" I told him after all the money I just paid him for a prescription for glasses, the cost of the glasses and the doctors visit, I don't think it was too much to ask or to expect to get a good prescription and a good pair of glasses for me to be able to work. After all, he's supposed to be an optometrist, but I guess my choice to see him was not a good choice. I never got a good pair of glasses because his RX was totally wrong for me. I just walked away so very frustrated, after spending hundreds of dollars and… still not being able to see properly. But lucky for me I found Dr. Jeffrey D. Gonnason, OD, in Anchorage that was very experienced and was able to give me a good prescription and a good pair of glasses to be able to see my computer at work. I certainly would not recommend this doctor to anyone ever.
