Dr. Dennis F Coughlin, MD

Called for an appointment for my mother, spoke to Melissa. Melissa was abrupt and rude and stated that they won't see my mother because my mother is high risk HMO(do not know what that mean). I called Health to verify what high risk HMO means and Health net Rep called the office also and Melissa was rude to Health Net Rep as well. Melissa(secretary) said that their office won't get paid by seeing my mom but Health Net Rep said that what Melissa said is not true as their clinic is contracted with Health Net.Basically, Melissa(secretary) denied my mother's access to care and her right to be seen by Dr. Coughlin who is probably a wonderful MD.

It's obvious he really has no idea what he is doing. I went there, despite reading the negative reviews on Dr. Dennis Coughlin, hoping that they were just over exaggerated. But they were right. Unfortunately, it's just a waste of time and money to see this doctor. If you can even call him that. He told me he can't help me, despite the fact that he took only 2minutes to see me, rushing. He is supposed to be an expert in dermatology, but seems more confused then myself. He was hopelessly useless.
