Really cares about you and is to the point

I had an appointment with Dr. Diokno I was told day-of that I needed to take a phonecall appointment hours prior to our original time to meet his convenience of scheduling. I had to step away from work first to take the preliminary call explaining that, and then to do the call with the Dr himself. My partner has the exact same diagnoses that I have and recieved specific support for those conditions I also wanted to pursue -- A work from home recommendation, and a recommendation for reduced utilities. We literally have the same 2 conditions. My partner got these on their first visit with their new Doctor, whereas Diokno told me it would be almost impossible to get. I told him I was committed to getting the care I know I need and am elligible for, I wasn't even a little rude about it, just firmly committed, and he responded to that very defensively before abruptly hanging up on me with no callback or folllow up, despite him saying we'd do blood work. Untrustworthy, condescending, rude.

Went with an elderly relative, as Dr. Diokno is his new PCP. Was very impressed with his demeanor and attentiveness. He ordered labs to get a baseline and was more thorough than his last doctor. We didn't feel rushed at all.

I had 2 kaiser phone appointments with this doctor and was shocked to realize that he has no time for his patients concerns. Extremely in hurry to hung up the phone. I had to pull on the call just to get all my doubts cleared. Dissatisfied!

Dr.Diokno was extremely rushed and just threw his papers on the table before walking in. He did not do a physical examination and just ordered tests. He did not give any medical advice and just told me how to get my lab tests done. I was quite shocked and have been contemplating if I should even change my insurance from Kaiser if other physicians would act like Dr.Diokno. I am extremely disappointed. I never write negative reviews and this is my first time to make sure someone else doesn't end up wasting time with a doctor like this.
