Dr. Dennis Wayne Dunning, MD

Dr. Dunning treated me twice for cardiovascular disease, ultimately placing 3 stints. Dr. Dunning explained in detail what to expect and what procedures he was about to perform. He also described in detail the results of my angiograms in easy to understand terms while pointing out where he placed each stint, and went so far as to tell me how to avoid, or at least minimize future problems. A first rate doctor! We miss him very much in Kingman, Arizona.

Dr. Dunning is the best Cardiologist I've ever had in the 40 year that I've been under the care of a Cardiologist. He is an absolute professional in every sense of the word. The best there is.

I had an issue with the narrowing of an artery in my upper body. In most cases this procedure would probably take maybe an hour. Mine took 4 hours, he attempted to access the issue, from two different directions. Another doctor would have given up; Dr Dunning did not, he persisted for the 4 hours and eventually addressed the issue. Having been a nurse for 50 years I knew most of what was going on and am eternally grateful to Dr. Dunning. He is not a warm and fuzzy care giver but I will take his personality to be cared for by his expertise and tenacity. I would recommend his to anyone, but; I would tell them of his bedside manner and have their questions written down and do not give up on getting your answers.

Dr. Denning, and his staff all treated me so nicely. They were all completely concerned for my health. They treated my fears with respect and Dr. Denning talked me all the way thru the operation. My aftercare was done with me knowing exactly what was happening by nurses and Dr. Denning

My healthy, 35 y.o. husband was presumed to be having a heart attack while we were on vacation. We were at a small regional hospital and got transferred to GR for Dr. Dunning to do a heart cath to determine whether it was a heart attack or some kind of infection causing it to look like a heart attack. He did the cath, told us he did not have an MI but rather had pericarditis, and got ready to leave the room. He wasn't going to give us any more info or explain the condition, etc. Horrible. I stopped him and asked about treatment (he gave a very short answer to this) and told us to follow up with our doc back home. That was it. If it wasn't for the incredible nurse we had, we would have left the hospital with absolutely no information about his condition or treatment.If you're in the GR area, there HAS to be another cardiologist who can take care of you better than he can!

2 out of 3 or 4 times I went for a procedure he caused harm and was not atentative to the matter at hand. Both times he caused a psuedo anurisym, first in my left arm, then the right arm. The second time I was hurt by him was caused by misdiagnosis of the problem when I had told them what it is. Four differ4ent medical personal told me he was careless, and one went so far as to say he butchered me.
