Dr. Dennis H. Feldman, MD

I have filed a complaint with my insurance company, Florida Blue, and the Florida Department of Professional Regulations and the Medical Association, for the awful treatment I have received. I had been in the hospital and was told I need to see a GI doctor asap. While awaited 2 months for an appointment, I had to return to the hospital again for the same symptoms. The symptoms 2nd visit was worse then the 1st visit. Again, I was told to see a GI doctor as I was endanger of bleed. My appointment day had arrived. I was asked to fill out paperwork stating that if I missed an appointment I would be charged. Ok. It did not say how much I would be charged. When I said that I would not initial it until I knew the assistant told me I would have to leave as the doctor would not see me if I did not sign the paperwork agreeing to pay a fee form missed appointment. The amount was not on the paperwork I signed it anyway. God only knows what they charge, and He isn’t saying. Also, they wanted to… charge me for sending medical records to my primary care physician. When I explained that my doctor was a part of the group and that she would be able to see the notes once they were completed, the assistant told me they don’t do that. I said, what are you talking about, the doctor is required to do medical notes, her response was he was not required send them out without payment. When asked if the received my medical records, they told me that they have 7 doctors and one fax machine, so chances are “we probably didn’t get them”. I was shocked, and truly at the lack of concern for my health. Then I waited for over an hour to see the doctor. When I inquired what was taking so long, she said "things happen". Really. Florida law requires a patient to be seen with in 30 min of the patient’s arrival. This office doesn't double book, they triple books having no respect of the patient's time. When I asked for a refund for my $75.00 co-pay, they refused to give me a receipt evidencing my refund. The office did not have any of the required signs such as: the abuse hotline and Patient’s rights and if you haven’t been see the doctor in 30 minutes inform the front desk. Ha! like they care.

Horrible Staff! He doesn’t listen to your concerns, always in a rush and does not do what he tells you he’s going to do.

Rude! Dr Feldman’s rudeness was horrific! I went in for outpatient procedure and he did a different procedure on me. I had severe side affects and every time I went in, he blew it off like it was all in my head! Feldman wanted to do a colonoscopy and when I refused he dismiss me as a patient! Horrible doctor!! I’m seeing a new GI doctor now and is the best !

My daughter waited two months for an appointment suffering through extreme stomach pain but dr feldman’s office couldn’t squeeze her in earlier. Due to excruciating pain she visited another doctor who only recommended a test but didn’t treat her otherwise. When she went in for the appointment she’d waited for so long-after the nurse checked her in and told her the doctor would be right there. Then nurse came back out and said Dr Feldman wouldn’t see her because shed gone to another doctor and he doesn’t give second opinions. Where is the humanity here? I can’t believe a doctor would be so egotistical and self serving that he refused to see a patient who had waited for two months and driven to his office because she had sought other medical attention when his office had refused to see her earlier. I guess she should have just suffered or stayed home possibly allowing additional damages when something was clearly medically wrong with her because Dr Feldman was busy and he won’t even… talk to you unless you’re completely faithful to him. He’s a weirdo and some other choice words that I wouldn’t say here but I think you know. Conclusion: my daughter still has some undiagnosed stomach problem and no doctor who cares enough to even talk to her. How does this happen and how can this possibly be ok?

No bedside manners, Poor communication and service

First class medical treatment. I highly recommend Dr Feldman.

Dr Feldman is a very good doctor. He was able to uncover things that needed attention and quickly once tests were ordered. My concern is some of the office staff. Ashley illegally dropped me as a patient with no notice and no one returns calls when promised from the folks in charge. I am in the middle of treatment and was dropped. I am thankful for the care I have received and am very disappointed at how things turned out. I would have liked to continue staying with him and the practice but wasn’t afforded to choice to be heard to get to resolution. I tried to switch doctors and no one explained processes to me. My health is important to me. I would still recommend him in fact I was ever so thankful he called me directly once when I had concerns. Just speak to someone other than Ashley. I feel things would have fared better starting fresh versus a transfer with massive pain and issues. We didn’t get to establish a relationship and I have been worried sick about what’s wrong with me.… I’m sad and I’m disappointed and it wasn’t legal. Good guy. By the time I had to be seen I was in a panic but now more so as no notice we are done. I showed up to appts, paid bills and have a pending lab. Sometimes personalities don’t mix but that’s still no way to treat a patient in need. I sincerely thank you for the support I was provided and the time you did help me.

I was transferred recently to Tampa from Atlanta and was told to find a gastroenterologist to manage my Inflammatory Bowel Disease ( IBS) I had been to many doctors thru out the years, but the symptoms came and went and when they were gone.... i was happy, until they returned with a vengeance. What Dr. Feldman was able to figure out was that i needed to do was take charge of my life and pay attention to stress, diet and lifestyle. He helped me with a treatment plan, and i worked with a dietician to really be careful about what i was eating.... it wasn't just a pill would be the magic cure..... it was his guidance and understanding of my disease and MY compliance. Dr. Feldman is the best in my book.

Dr. Feldman was not very courteous to me. He has very little patience and is very short with you. He doesn't like too many questions and wants to make his way out the door. I would not recommend this doctor.

My experience with Dr. Feldman, his staff and endoscopy team was extremely positive. They were very professional and made me feel very comfortable from my very first visit, to all my follow ups. I know i personally put off having a endoscopy for years, because i was so afraid.... but the awesome experience will make sure i return... Now i feel it is my obligation to tell everyone at work to have a endoscopy .... a very painless procedure, that can save your life.
