Dr. Dennis Stewart Ginsberg, MD

I had a very serious problem 3 years ago. My pcp sent me to Dr. Ginsberg. He more less laughed at me and said what I was describing was not accurate. A month later I had to have major surgery. I’ll never again go to Dr Ginsberg

The office is very small. There isn’t even a bathroom in it. You have to get dressed and go to the main bathroom in hallway. You can’t give a urine sample. They send you to your lab. Dr Ginsberg never called me with my lab results. Told me if I don’t have symptoms don’t treat the problem. Ended up with more serious issues because he didn’t treat me. He was argumentative and condescending when he spoke to me. He shouldn’t be practicing medicine.

Horrible doctor didn’t want to help me told me a female can’t itch on the inside poor bedside manner

Yes, he is LOUD, He is a bit KOOKY. But, he is very intelligent, funny (this works for me, but not all), and I think he loves his job. I don't know if I would call him compassionate. He is not the opposite of that, but I don't get the warm, fuzzy feeling from him. I have had numerous procedures done by Dr. Ginsberg and he was always thorough and verbally walked me through what he was doing...........with something funny thrown in here and there. If anyone besides my husband is coming between these legs, you can bet it is Dr. Ginsbgerg!

Bad experience from beginning to end. Is irresponsible to the point of negligence. Has a bad habit of repeatedly interrupting me during visit and telephone f/up. Was dismissive of my assertions of symptoms and was skeptical to the point of argument of my self-report of prior medical history -- perhaps because he expressed complete ignorance of the condition. A patient needn't be made to feel defensive and argue justification of a diagnosis that has been well established in the medical research community since the '90s. (Bloodwork -- which was a repeat of prior lab work by my family physician and to which he had access but declined or refused to look up in my medical records-- confirmed my assertions.)Regarding follow-up, I was told by Ginsberg that I would be contacted if lab work indicated any abnormalities. Like most patients, I assumed all was normal as I didn't hear otherwise. It was not until my FAMILY physician commented on the results did I learn otherwise. When I phoned… Ginsberg to confirm the results, he said that he had tried on numerous occasions to phone me. I must accept that he did although he did not ever leave a message. I find Ginsberg's failure to notify me as irresponsible and negligent. If he could not reach me by phone, he should have sent a letter, contacted my family physician, or persisted in his efforts rather than ignoring his responsibilities. Now, nearly 2 months after the initial visit I am once again in the position of having to perform his duties for him: he made it my responsibility to have previous physicians give approval to prescribe medications I've taken in the past since he maintains his ignorance of the diagnosis. I am incensed that he feels no sense of responsibility and continuously shirks his duties. It is not my responsibility to bring him up to speed regarding gaps in his medical training; that is what he should feel morally and ethically obligated to do--and it's what he is paid to do. If you seek intelligent, respectful, and ethical medical care, look elsewhere than Dennis Ginsberg. I will be following my own advice.

THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT FOLLOW HIPPAA LAWS FOLLOWING MY EXAM I WAS TOLD TO GET DRESS AND COME OUT I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO MEET WITH HIM IN HIS OFFICE TO DISCUSS MY RESULTS, BUT I FOUND MY SELF AT THE COUNTER AS YOU EXIT THE ROOM DISCUSSING MY MAMMO INFO AND OTHER INFORMATION. I WALKED AWAY FROM HIM IN DISCUSS I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DOCTOR HE DOES NOT RESPECT PRIVACY.

Ginsberg is a great obgyn. As soon as you let him know what you're curious about, he readily answers your questions, gives you pros and cons and his personal experiences. He is very knowledgeable and is quite friendly. Visits to him are the more comfortable than any other gyno doctor I've had.

Dr. Dennis Ginsberg is a wonderful doctor! He is the only OBGYN that explain to me what the problem was and just didn't slap a pack of Birth Control and say "here take these, that would fix it."I was amazed. He made sure I understood what was going on. KUDOS to you Dr. Ginsberg!!!

Dr. Ginsberg explains everything very well with ease. Ive never had a doctor that took the time to make sure i understood everything about the visit or discussed any concerns i had. Although my only downfall with him is he comes across as a very opionated doctor. That is not the easiest to deal with when you have concerns and questions about your personal health, but all in all he is one of the best doctors i have seen.
