Meet Dr. Halford
Dennis Halford, D.D.S., M.S.
After graduating with honors from Texas Tech University, Dr. Halford and his wife, Lynn, moved to Houston where he entered the University of Texas Dental Branch and spent the next six years receiving his D.D.S. degree, as well as a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Upon completion of his degrees, Dr. Halford, his wife and their two children moved to Sugar Land, where he and his family have been living since 1982 and have been actively involved in the community and schools throughout Fort Bend County. Charities such as ARC, CASA, Ft. Bend Cancer League, and Ft. Bend Education Foundation have been areas of interest with Dr. Halford and his wife.
Dr. Halford, a longtime sponsor for many youth activities and sports teams, has coached soccer, volleyball and basketball as well as starting numerous swim meets while living in Sugar Land. Dr. Halford and Lynn are actively involved in Williams Trace Baptist Church where they serve on many …committees and have directed adults as well as youth departments. Dr. Halford continues to speak to middle schools each year helping them with course selection for their high school years in the Texas Scholar's Program as they begin their preparation for college. He also works each year reading numerous teachers grant applications for the Fort Bend Education Foundation to enrich the education process for teachers and students in Fort Bend County.
Dr. Halford is a member of the following professional organizations: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists, Founding Member of American Association of Functional Orthodontists, Texas Orthodontic Foundation and American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. Dr. Halford is a certified orthodontist for: Invisalign®, Incognito® braces by LingualCare, and SureSmile by OraMetrix.
Dr. Halford likes to spend his spare time working out in the gym, swimming, playing golf and attending sporting events with family and friends. According to Dr. Halford, being able to work and live in the same community has enabled him to give back to a community that has given so much to him.
