Dr. Dennis Michael Hembd, MD

I was referred to Dr. Hembd by another doctor. I've been dealing with a certain pain issue for over a year and it's been beyond frustrating. Dr. Hembd took the time to listen to my concerns and act on them. It was very obvious to me that he cares about his patients and I'm very thankful I was able to see him. He made it clear that he is genuinely invested in helping me get a diagnosis, and more importantly, a treatment.

I have seen Dr. Hembd and he is, of course, amazing but I would like to comment on the professionalism and assistance offered by his staff. I have had the uptmost of communication and assistance than I have experienced from a medical office in quite some time. Five stars to you all!

My husband had to use Dr. Hembd because of Worker's Compensation. This has been going on for 2 years, the seeing different doctors up until Dr. Hembd. He has had 2 other back surgerys and was doing well for a year until a car hit him from behind while in a work truck. While Worker's Comp takes forever to get anything done, Dr. Hembd and his staff were attentive and compassionate to my husband. They didn't treat him like he was just complaining for no reason and give him pain killers like the other doctors we had seen up until then. My husband can't take pain killers, they make him sick. Dr. Hembd takes the time to listen and he asks' questions until he can understand exactly what you are going through. He referred my husband to a surgeon and he is now scheduled for surgery in less than a month. We are grateful that thru all of Worker's Comps red tape and dragging feet, that we had Dr. Hembd on our side.

Dr Hembd has been treating my dad for the past 10 years. Him and his entire staff have always been very nice, very professional and caring. From the check in desk to the last person that schedules your next follow up appointment, everyone is so nice. If it wasn’t for Dr Hembd, my dad would be in a wheel chair years ago. He’s a doctor that really does push for the best treatments for his patients. Family Pjanic thanks you for all your hard work!

I have constant lower back and right leg pain. I had seen a physical therapist and used a professional trainer to strengthen my core, but that was marginally successful. I saw Dr Hembd once and then was handed off to a PA for the subsequent visits After having an MRI, I was given two facet injections and another one for the leg pain. Nothing helped. At the last appointment, I was told to "live with it". Not very helpful and certainly not satisfying at all!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Hemb! He took great care of me during a very difficult time of my life. I had a compressed and burst vertebrae due to a fall. He took the time to explain my options and to listen to me. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate. He cared about me as a person which made me feel very comfortable an allowed me to come to the best decision for my situation. He continues to work with me to get me back to normal activities. He also worked with his colleagues in my situation. I felt so confident with him as my doctor and the knowledge they all work together when necessary to make sure all options are considered. I recommend him to anyone who has back issues or injury. I am so glad to have him as my Doctor.

Dr. Hembt ia a wonderful doctor. I had some serious back issues, and he helped me to address them, and prescribed treatment for me which has really helped me. He sits back and listens, and seems to have all the time in the world, and does not rush me. A naturally serious guy, he warms up after you get to know him a bit. He gave me facet injections, and I never felt a thing....he's real good at what he does. I'm so glad I found him, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with back issues.

Dr. Hembd has been great !!! He took the time to listen to my issue and offered a couple of different options regarding my back issue. Ultimately I had to undergo two facet injections and finally a Rhizotomy. His follow up was fantastic and I really got the feeling that he cared about me getting my quality of life back. I would definitely recommend him.

The office staff is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get some one who is courteous on the phone, other times you get people who are bit rude and patronizing. Dr. Hembd is smart, but his bedside manner can be a little off putting at times. I got the impression that as a patient I inconvenienced him of his time.
