I know that Dr. McCreary does not run on time. I do not care, when I see him he answers all my questions and takes the time necessary. When I have an appointment with him I take the day off. He is worth the wait. One time my appointment was 3 hours late, I found out he was with a patient of his that was about to die. I went home and they called me when he was ready to see me. Instead of being mad, I prayed for the person he was taking care of. I know if I had a problem he would be at my side.

Many doctors at this location, this is the only doctor that has a poster in the waiting area that they post the appointment time of the patient he is currently seeing. For instance, my appointment time was 1 pm. I was there on time. At 10 mins after 1 pm, a nurse comes out to update the poster; the doctor is now seeing the patient with the 11:40 time! THIS IS AN EVERYDAY OCCURANCE WITH THIS PHYSICIAN! An older woman with her caretaker immediately cancelled their appointment, even though they were the 2nd appointment to be seen after the 11:40 patient. I overheard they were the noon appointment! I was the 1 pm appointment! How long do you thing I was gonna have to wait to be put in a room? I have a job, I gotta get back to it! You could tell the office staff were ruffled up by the update. The ladies ahead of us cancelled and refused to be rescheduled. Instead, the one of the ladies at the desk gave them a brochure for other doctors in the Aurora System they can choose to see… in Gurnee. Talk about letting business walk right out the door!!! I feel sorry for the nurses and office staff. This kind of behavior by a doctor can crush a practice and put people out of work.

dr. mccreary is an absolutely WONDERFUL doctor. I would reccommend him to anybody. He is quite the comedian too! Once again, the best doctor I have ever had in my entire life!
