Dr. Dennis K Miller, MD

Were it possible to award more than 5 stars, I would award 10 stars. Dr. Miller first treated me for endocarditis 20 years ago. He diagnosed the disease before even getting results of the blood culture. He did the same ten years later and fought with the insurance company to obtain approval for a transesophageal echocardiogram because, although the blood culture did not show the presence of bacteria, Dr. Miller was certain the test result was wrong. He turned out to be right, I had valve repair and, in my mind, Dr. Miller saved my life. He's an amazing man, House with a heart. He is old school, thorough, never in a hurry to get to the next patient. He has been a trusted friend to my family, has always made sure that when any of us have been hospitalized he was there to supervise the care, no matter. We love this man.

I thought that Dr. Miller was amazing, compassionate and very dedicated. There aren't many infectious disease doctors in New York city, so it was great to find someone who was easy to schedule appointments with. He's very knowledgeable on all aspects of infectious disease.

I called to make an appointment and his secretary said, "his panel is full."
