Dr. Dennis Harold Nicholson, MD

I saw him for a second opinion about sleep apnea. He spent hour and a half with me - something unheard of in this day and age. I made clear to him that reason I am here is because I do not think highly of doctors who take a cookie cutter approach and treat a 40 year old same as a 80 year old and I am looking for best treatment plan individualized for my age and present / past medical history. I think he came up with such a plan. I intend never to go back to the doctor I saw earlier and continue treatment with Dr Nicholson. Such knowledgeable and honest doctors are very hard to find.

I've never known such a kind, compassionate Dr. He's my favorite Dr. His staff is also very professional and friendly. Karen, was my favorite sleep technician.

I qualified for and needed a new mask. The Tech recommended a new mask and I was told it would take 5-7 days. I called after 8 days only to learn that the order was still on Dr. Nicholson's desk unsigned. The order was then signed that day and then released to Lifecare Solutions for delivery. That was 5 days ago and I am still waiting. I have been without my mask for 2 weeks and experienced poor sleep.

I like Dr. Nicholson. He is very caring and kind. I do not feel rushed during my appointments and I feel he listens to me. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea several years ago and am doing well. Occasionally I take my machine into the office for a tech evaluation which I find very helpful and the woman who helps with supplies replacement is very efficient and friendly. I will continue going to this office and recomend Dr. Nicholson to others.

the staff, there is one of the staff that comes off as being put off. she comes off as though she is unhappy in her work. other staff are dry in manners. there are also staff that are vary helpful and caring. Dr N seems to be controlling. the perspective being you work for him. it was difficult for me to communicate with him. i was left feeling that Dr N hears what he wants to here.Dr N is also good at what hes doing. the check-up that i got was vary thorough. I feel that was cared for but that I was not able to particepate in my health care.
