Dennis the Dentist
Dr. Dennis Nicola has over 30 years of experience in the practice of general dentistry. He enjoys being able to blend the new dental techniques, technologies, and materials with his knowledge gained from many years of practicing dentistry for the benefit of his patients.
He was born, raised and educated in Southern California. He is a 1973 graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dennis Nicola has been practicing dentistry in Oregon since 1978, and has had his own family dental practice in Newberg since 1992.
He is dedicated to continuing professional education and staying up to date with the advances in dentistry. He has taken additional extended advanced education and training in:
• Cosmetic dentistry and bonding
• Pediatric dentistry
• Endodontics
• Implant dentistry
• Partial dentures
• Occlusal analysis and equilibration
• Full mouth rehabilitation
Dr. Nicola is a charter member of the Alpha Omega Study Club – an ongoing …organization of Yamhill County general dentists and specialists dedicated to expanding and sharing their knowledge and skills in comprehensive dentistry.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Oregon Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Marion/Polk/Yamhill Dental Society.
"Dennis the Dentist" is active in the local community. He is a member of the Newberg Earlybirds Rotary Club, and the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce. Dennis supports and volunteers at local health fairs, and at Newberg and St Paul schools – public and private.
Dr. Dennis Nicola and his wife, Lynda, have two daughters. Their oldest daughter is currently attending Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) Dental School. Their youngest daughter recently graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a BS in Nursing. Dennis enjoys family activities, photography, and travel. He also continues to regularly play soccer.
