Dr. Dennis Joseph Patin, MD

This doctor will lie to you and about you, he says that he doesn't use his UM messages because he likes to talk in person, but the truth is that he uses it as an opportunity to lie using the old he said she said. He makes excuse after excuse after excuse for the inexcusable. He will never take responsibility for any of his lies, inconsistencies, or negligence. This office does not follow best practice, it is impossible to schedule the expensive procedures he prescribes because it brings in far more money for his time than seeing patients in person. I went here with the clear goal of getting off pain medicine, they never helped at all. I had to go to my pharmacist finally for advice and have been successful on my own. Take copious notes at every visit and any issue. Call the patient experience office at the first problem. I chose to terminate this patient doctor relationship.

Three hour wait to see the doctor.

I have yet to come across such a caring doctor. When I lived in Florida he treated me for chronic pain. Since returning to Seattle I have been dx w/ breast cancer, labral tears of both hips and oddi dysfunction. Dr. Patin. I miss you. A. Matthews

This man needs to be retired from medicine. He doesn’t pretend to care. You can tell from the reviews it’s luck of the draw, and if he decides he doesn’t like you, you’re going to suffer one humiliation or another and your pain will not be treated. And no matter what, prepare to wait four hours.

I am a well educated executive with 13 years of college from two top universities. I can tell you without a doubt that unfortunately you should stay away from this doctor. In a procedure of mine he twisted completely my sacrum and broke it. Dr. Patin did not use any anesthesia so it was a tremendously painful experience. needless to say this brought on a consistent high degree of pain anytime I sit or stand. He was very rough in the way he handled this procedure.

I do not recommend this Dr. Patin at UM downtown. He takes 3 hours or more to see a patient. He looks tired and he cares less about patients. He's profile picture is not update it he is and old Doctor. The staff play games telling patients you next .... I wait 3 hours and I was not call ....

I believe after all the doctors I have seen Dr.Patin managed to be the only one that I truly trust and think he will find a solution for my pain... He will not rest until he finds something!! Yes you might have to wait and I mean hours... But it's so worth it!!! For all the people with extreme pain conditions he truly understands and you are in a teaching hospital where you can be sure to get the best and newest treatments ...

Rude, countradicted himself on diagnosis, then said i have to live with the pain!? What kind of nonsense are they teaching? No wonder most doctors are rude and in then out with their minds set on one thing. Not looking into chronic conditions and push new drugs on you. Don't waste your time and money or aggravate you more
