Dr. Dennis Kenneth Schimpf, MD

It has been long enough now that I can write about the level of success/failure in my particular surgery. I had gynecomastia surgery in 2017 from Dr. Schimpf. I would not recommend him to other men who need this surgery. I had to go back to him a second time (ten weeks after the first surgery) and have the whole thing done again because he did not use his scalpel to extract the tissue underneath the nipple (which was what I went to him for in the first place). Instead he relied on his "smart lipo" machine, which is made for overweight people, not for someone who is lean and merely has a tissue lump that needs to be cut out. I also have two very visible scars on the side of my pectorals where he used the "wand" from the smart lipo to get underneath my pectorals. It was a painful and unsuccessful surgery and it made me question his competence in using a scalpel. He may be very good at other types of plastic surgery, however for men with gynecomastia -- specifically a mass of tissue under… the nipple(s) that needs to be surgically removed, I would not recommend his services. A general surgeon would have done a better job I believe.

Dr Schimpf and his team are amazing! He has truly given me a body I never thought I could even before kids. Not to mention he is just the nicest guy! His PA ReBecca is just amazing as well.

He is a very gifted surgeon and makes me feel confident I'm in good hands. He did a beautiful job on my Tummy Tuck and BA. He is genuinely caring and sympathetic to your worries or pain and does his best to make you comfortable. He and his office staff are very kind and accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone.
