Dr. Dennis J Schmidt, DDS

Dr. Dennis J. Schmidt is a native of Hughson, California. He was born and raised in the area in and surrounding Modesto. Dr. Schmidt’s father is a prominent attorney in Modesto, and his grandfather was well established in the community as a dairy rancher and veterinarian. Dr. Schmidt received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. Since graduation in 2003, he has practiced in Modesto. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Stanislaus Dental Society. He has participated in local study clubs, including the Modesto Study Club, to further his knowledge and education by meeting with other local dentists and specialists on a regular basis.Dr. Schmidt is concerned about the community in which he lives and serves. He is a member of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce and …generously donates to schools in the area. He has given to local PTA organizations and currently, he volunteers with Families for Academic Excellence, a charter school organization in which he provides both time and finances.Dr. Schmidt is a devoted family man. He is married to Amelia, who also works two days a week in the office, and they recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Dr. Schmidt is the proud father of son, Austin, and daughter, Darby, whose picture you can see prominently displayed in the office. He enjoys Cub Scouting and playing video games with his son, and he dotes on his daughter. He enjoys sports like basketball, football and has recently experienced the game of golf. He is now determined to be an avid golfer.Dr. Schmidt is an advocate for health and fitness. He consistently can be found at the gym in the early morning hours before work, so as not to take away from his family time after. His goals include maintaining a healthy lifestyle for himself and his family and to pass along those ideals to his patients through proper and gentle dental care.
