Dr. Dennis Dai-Nen Shen, MD

Dr. Dennis Shen is a gastroenterologist and internal medicine specialist who earned his medical degree from Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. He completed his residency training at University Hospital SUNY Stony Brook, building expertise in digestive health and comprehensive internal medicine care. With 46 years of clinical experience, Dr. Shen brings extensive knowledge to treating complex gastrointestinal conditions. He provides care in both Chinese and English.

Dr. Shen practices at multiple locations throughout San Francisco, California, including North East Medical Services, California Pacific Medical Center Mission Bernal Campus, Chinese Hospital, UCSF Health Saint Francis Hospital, and CPMC Van Ness Campus. His clinical focus includes managing colon polyps and treating gastritis, as well as addressing high cholesterol in children and teenagers. Dr. Shen performs diagnostic procedures such as lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy to evaluate digestive …tract health. He also conducts pathology tests to provide comprehensive care for his patients.
