 Derek Ego-Osuala, DDS, MS Â
Dr. Derek Ego-Osuala received his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland at College Park. After graduating with honors in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in both Physiology and Neuroscience, he attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (BCDS), the first dental school in the world. After graduating from dental school in 2007, Dr. Ego-Osuala completed a three year Endodontic Post Graduate program at the University of Maryland BCDS. He successfully defended his thesis in 2010, and went on to receive his certification in endodontics as well as a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology.   Â
In addition to working in private practice in Bowie and Silver Spring, Maryland, Dr. Ego-Osuala is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Maryland, BCDS. He is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists and a member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association …and Maryland State Dental Association. He is currently Board Eligible, working toward becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and continues his study at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland with the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club.
Dr.Ego-Osuala is married to his beautiful wife Kelly. They enjoy traveling, golfing, basketball and spending time with family and friends.
