Dr. Derek Edward Lamprecht, DO

Dr Lamprecht did a great job on my shoulder. He took the time to order diagnostic imaging, to listen and explain things.

I have nerve damage from the surgery and a messy scar with way more bruising after the surgery than the initial accident. The bone exit wound wasn't noticed throughout the entire process and he suggested I'd poked a stick down the splint! I need further surgery to clean up the surgery. Did I need as much hardware as I now have permanently. I felt the approach was rough and inconsiderate. The clinic did not inform me of much about the process or medications and I had to find my own way through their system with constant phone calls to find someone who cared enough to explain it. They insisted on $$$ up front before he would do the surgery. I was in no situation to do any research and had no one to advocate for me. I have actively warned friends not to go here. My lingering feeling is of feeling like I got a bad deal after coming through the Er route.

After a shoulder injury didn't improve, I went to great lengths to research the best doctor in the area. Dr. Lamprecht has proven himself as a caring doctor who takes his time with you to really listen. He gets my vote of trust! I certainly recommend him.

He is a great Ortho doctor. I had a great experience with him and the staff. My surgey went well for my shoulder and I would go back again if needed and would recommend others to his office as well.

I didn't choose Dr. Lamprecht because I had an accident and he was on-call. How lucky for me that he was the designated orthopedic surgeon that day. He is thorough, cares about his patients and, most important to me, was incredibly skillful in repairing my old bones. The icing on the cake is his staff who are helpful, reassuring, and highly responsive to his patients. The Dr. and staff all make it seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr. Lamprecht. If you are able to have elective surgery call him, and if it's an emergency, hope he's on call!

Dr. Lambrecht was always easy to talk with about my surgery. His PA was also easy to talk to.

Dr. Lamprecht didn't listen at all when I tried to explain what was wrong. When he did respond to questions, the answers were so brief as to be non-informative. During one examination, he was actually yawning. I came away with a strong impression of arrogance and total lack of interest on his part if no surgery is required. Unfortunately, for me, that meant that I spent thousands of dollars and left with no useful advice.
