Dr. Derek Lewis, MD

I had an appointment at 10:15. Didn’t get to a room until 11:45. Still have yet to see a doctor and it’s 12:28..they have typed in the computer for forever but I won’t even see the doctor today... this was a blank trip.

I've been a patient of Dr. Derek Lewis for over 15 years and have always received the highest quality of care. I have often called and his schedule was full but he has worked me in. I especially appreciate that fact that he considers my opinions when designing a plan of care for me. He is down to earth and very easy to talk to. Never felt rushed.

Appointment was scheduled for several weeks. Appointment was at 8:30 a.m. and I had not been seen as of 10:00 a.m. The place was dirty, vents polluted with old vent dust.

The wait time is ridiculous. I was waiting for a room for over four hours.

I think Dr. Derek Lewis is a wonderful doctor, as well as a man. I'm not sure about these reviews that I have been reading. Dr. Lewis has been my Primary Care Physician for almost 20 years, I have never left him except for him sending me to specialists, He is caring, he has been perfect in diagnosing my illnesses along with sending me to whatever specialist he feel may help my improvement. Over the years he his gained quiet a few patients and the wait time is a little lengthy, part is the insurance companies require him to see patients same day instead of going to the emergency rooms, and insurance verification for new patients. You can't spend time in an office, view the office staff and correctly rate the Dr.'s performance. The staff could use a little cleaning up but I would recommend Dr. Lewis to everyone, no Dr. is perfect

Run out the door and find a real Doctor! Terrible experience. They couldn't care less!

Has lewis ever refered you out to another dr? NO! He writes a script and keeps going. Get another dr.

Dr Lewis is good. He just don't have time for you. He has too many patuents and he be trying to throw you out quick. I know I am going to be there for hours unless I schedule close to lunch time, 12:00 noon. The staff don't care about you. No kind of people training at all and it don't come naturally. My comment is not my own but alot of the patients that he has seen.

Consistently I wait at least TWO hours to be seen by the Dr. I'm finding a new one after my last visit. The phones aren't answered unless you hit zero for the operator many times and stay on the phone loop for 15-20 min. What bad service!

This person does not care about his patients at all. He is strictly in it for the money and does not care what is wrong with you.
