Dr. Derek John Mccammon, MD

Clinic is very efficient with no long wait in the waiting room and the doctor comes to the room right away. Dr. McCammon is very friendly and he explains everything in terms a patient can understand. If undergoing any procedures he is sure to explain exactly what he is doing and why. Excellent physician. He is also very good at making things so they don't hurt. He numbs the skin prior to injections which works great and makes sure that any area he is working on is thoroughly deadened.

Advised of corrective steps without surgery after review of X-ray. Appreciation of the lengthy conversation we had of my concerns with foot pain.

I first saw Dr. McCammon for an issue with ingrown toenails and he took care of them that day. That was over 18 months ago and I haven’t had a problem since. Most recently I broke my foot hiking in the great NW. long story short, I eventually needed a screw put in to fix and stabilize the break. Dr. McCammon is amazing, caring, understanding, and excellent in his field. I will not go anywhere else for any orthopedic needs. I’ve also had shoulder surgery 18 months ago by Dr. Albright, and he too was truly the best!

Derek McCammon is an excellent orthopedic doctor. He did surgery on my foot recently and was thorough in explaining everything from the surgery to the recovery. His surgical team is top notch & the office staff is friendly & efficient. Highly recommended!
