Derek Osborne, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Derek Osborne joined Dr. Ann Trivette in 1998 just prior to Dr. Lawrence Trivette’s retirement. Being relatives, the relationship with her and the staff was a natural process. Dr. Osborne received his degree in Chemistry from UT-Knoxville in 1985 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from UT-Memphis in 1989. Afterwards, he was commissioned an officer in the US Army and consequently completed a General Practice Residency in 1990. Enjoying his travel opportunities, he lived the next 4 years operating a small dental clinic in Worms, Germany. After completing his military service, he began his private practice experience in Johnson City, TN and was very happy to transition to this practice in Knoxville. He also currently operates an office in New Tazewell, Tennessee.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Second District Dental Society and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He participates in numerous …continuing education programs each year and has done several medical mission trips to outlying villages in Mexico as well as within the Knoxville community.
