Dr. Deron Jean Tessier, MD

I've had the pleasure of working with Tessier twice. He was referred to me as the ”guru" at the procedure. First surgical repair went great...2nd surgical repair- I met with Tessier, his intern & his PA. He had access to all records & imaging. On the day of surgery...he showed up, face beet red... He punctured my bladder during surgery & did an subpar patch. The surgical repair is already breaking down, he should've placed surrounding reinforcements & didn't. I had & still have significant pain at the surgical site. I experienced post-op complications, infection & hospitalization. I had to go to the ER twice for this, almost had to call EMS. Pre-op concerns were discussed & disregarded, & there's been no physical assessment for follow up, only 2 phone calls. When researching his license I found a recent arbitration settlement for patient injury. He works at Kaiser Fontana & Kaiser Ontario... Probably other sites as well. The entire Fontana Medical Center needs an accreditation audit.

Dr. Tessier has been up front and informative to us. He takes his time and answers your questions. I can't say enough positive about this man.
