Dr. Derrick Emerson Ridley, MD

Dr. Ridley is very thorough and helpful. He takes the time to listen to the patient and family. His staff works very well together. Everyone has a part to do and they do it well. And when everyone else is busy, Dr. Ridley does whatever job needs to be done.

Dr. Ridley is rude and is not seem to care for patients who advocate for their own health and well being. He became upset and rude with me when I asked him about an alternative to the typical pharmaceuticals the he passes out to everyone he sees. I will not be returning to him because I believe I should be at least a partner in my own health care.

Dr. Ridley was awesome and attentive from the beginning. Answered all my questions. He was compassionate and caring. His judgement and advice are sound. Took the best course of action for my Congestive heart failure.

He is a great person,great Dr very caring and compassionate.

Called to inform the b/p med I was recently put on was making my b/p bottom out. The nurse forgot I was on hold. After 20 minutes of holding on, I hung up and called back.Then to be told to stop taking it all together, and told me to go to my pcp I was there for a specialist to began with. Smh. Will seek a new Cardiologist. Realized he's a front and only cares if you're not proactive in your care. He takes it as an insult, because he just can't give you anything, at least not to me. I totally trust Dr Ridley and his staff. They're very kind, explain everything they are doing and are patient. Waiting time is brief. Appointments are available pretty quickly, which is surprising since he has so many patients. He's very sweet and knowledgeable, which is a great combination!

Dr. Ridley is very thorough in his cardiac investigation, very, warm and compassionate, does not lie, and is prompt and curtious.

Every visit is always good

I ended up in the hospital because of another cardiologist that failed to see symptoms for months. Dr. Ridley took over my case, got me out of the hospital and eliminated several unnecessary meds that ended me up in the hospital in the first place.

Our first meeting with Dr. Ridley was in the ER. To date, Dr. Ridley has been caring for my husband for the past 6 years. During this time he has had only scheduled hospital stays. He and his staff are extremely professional and caring. Dr. Ridley is genuinely concerned about the health of his patients and seem to know each personally. He is extremely knowledgeable and truthful with his diagnosis. We trust his medical advice completely.
