There was a bit of a mixup w scheduling. I was told by clinic staff that I needed prior auth for this treatment. After waiting 2 weeks without hearing anything I called my insurance company and they said they didn't receive anything. I called the clinic back to let them know to resend it, and three days later I received a call back from the clinic saying I didn't need a prior auth and could just schedule. Otherwise everything was great. Dr. Humane explained everything in detail, and he made sure I was fine throughout the procedure.

Doctor appears very concerned about my problem and is working to resolve.

Dr Shumate is a very caring neurologist who listens to me and prescribes medications and tests as needed. He has treated me for trigeminal neuralgia for 10 years and I am doing very well thanks to him.
