Dr. Derrick Ibrahim Wallace, MD

Not a friendly happy place. Staff just working without empathy or concern. Don't go out of their way to help you find what you need. The doctor is just a doctor. He probably didn't remember what I looked like the minute he walked away. He was in and out, didn't ask many questions, did a look see and did suggest a course of action but I have no intentions of going back there. The whole office including the doctor have zero personality. I only went there because my regular ENT doctor retired after over 10 years of going to him and I am looking for a new one. This won't be the new one.

Orders tests, never provides results. Throws you on medicine, then no follow up. Not a strong diagnostician either. Not a fan.

If you like a dr that's rude, ignores you when you tell him something. Does not acknowledge you. Thinks he is god. Does not introduce himself or says anything when examine is over then he is the one for you. Saw him then had a question next day. He called back, first thing out of his mouth is I told you nothing is wrong with your ears, I don't have time. I said you can give me 2 minutes like you have me. Said what I had to say barely, he kept saying I don't have time. He told me to go find another doctor. I said you get I will. I told him to you know what. Nasty nasty dr. All the good reviews, must be about another dr. No bedside manner at all.

He is the worst doctor ever !! I had a terrible experience with him , starting with the staff's impoliteness and unprofessional way of handling my son's appointment. Then the waiting time that was almost an hour between being in the front and then moving to the exam room . The doctor was very arrogant, impolite and careless of my son's concerns like he doesn't care . He never asked my son( who is nine ) about how was he feeling . The visit was very short and I felt rushed . I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. TERRIBLE DOCTOR!!!!!

Dr. Wallace was rude and inappropriate in his behavior: no bedside manners at all. He entered the room and never said hello or even looked at me. He laughed at me when I told him what I thought was wrong, which was what my GP had said. He was arrogant and I left with no answers to my problem.

HORRIBLE! You would think that the doctor would be more personable being a new patient but woo was that far from it. Horrible bed side manner. Didn't even try to make a quick chat with my 2yr old the patient. After that horrible experience, I decide to give him another try because what he prescribe did help my daughters cough and in the end that prevails over a horrible personality. I had my husband go to the Newark location to do a follow up and guess what, no one was there. I did not even get a courtesy phone call to let the working parents know that he would be in surgery. There are knowledgeable doctors out there with better bedside manner.

My experience with Dr. Wallace was profoundly negative. He showed no interest in examining me, only in entering my symptoms into a computer. When I finally asked him to look at my withering, misshapen ear, he said, â??It looks fine to me.â?? When I asked him to examine it, he sighed and responded hesitantly, â??Well, if you want me to.â?? Dr. Wallace gave my ear a cursory tug, then declared it perfectly normal. Normal is not the conclusion drawn by my GP or dermatologist. When I pointed out that my ears are different sizes, Dr. Wallace said, â??No oneâ??s ears are exactly the same size.â?? And finally, when I showed him my deteriorated my nose cartilage, he chalked it up to aging. Dr. Wallace either A) thought I was a hypochondriac or B) had no answers and wanted me out of his office as quickly as possible. After leaving, I cried with frustration.
