Dr. Derrick Chate Wansom, MD

If I were allowed to put 10 stars I would. Dr. Derrick Wansom has changed my life. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Wansom my mind was already made up that I had to except that I would just live with my pain, but I was wrong. I explain all I was going through and how I needed help. Dr. Wansom spent extensive time with me finding the right treatment plan fit for me. The lifestyle I was living wasn't me. Once my appointment was over I was scheduled quickly for injections. After my procedures I started feeling a difference. I became hopeful. The procedures were a total life changer. Before going to see Dr. Wansom I couldn't stand for long periods of time without feeling like I was walking on shards of glass. My neuropathy is now manageable. I have pain in multiple places and after expressing my concerns he was able to find a solution for all of them. I've had multiple procedures that have been life changing. I'm proud to say I can do the things I use to do without limitations.… Thank you Dr. Wansom for treating me and continuing to treat me.

I have been seeing Dr Wansom for several years. I have had surgeries and injections all from Dr Wansom. The last was laser surgery for back pain. I recommend this type surgery. It’s helped me tremendously. He is great explaining what will happen and answer any questions. I would rate him 10 stars if available.

Worse dr office in bastrop

Dr. Wansom was amazing! He is the best Dr I have seen at this facility. He is caring and knows what he is talking about. He took time out to explain my treatment plan. His staff is awesome as well. They are friendly and caring. I highly recommend Bastrop PSA
