Dr. Derya Erden Arkonac, MD

She did an ablation on my husband Monday July 6th. Tuesday evening he was having trouble breathing. Was transported via ambulance back to Portsmouth Hospital where she operated on him. Spent 6.5 hours there, they never treated his symptoms. They ran many tests and wanted to admit him to have gall bladder surgery the next day. We declined and left. Wednesday called many nurses and demanded Dr. Arkonac call us same day. She did and took no ownership of how he was feeling. Suggested we go back to the emergency room or see his primary care physician. He went to Exeter Hospital emergency room where his cardiologist is and had more tests. Was there at 1:40pm Wednesday and was admitted at 10pm. Next day cardiologist Dr. Goodwin saw him and came up with a plan. Plan implemented same day, felt better that afternoon and was discharged. Saw cardiologist Dr. Porter next day and was told the medical community failed him.
