Dr. Desiree Mccarthy-Keith, MD

Dr. McCarthy-Keith is a wonderful, caring physician who gave my husband and I the confidence we needed during our infertility journey. She is patient, kind and truly cares about each of her patients. After 3 unsuccessful IUIs and 1 round of IVF, we finally have our beautiful baby boy in our arms. With 4 more embryos on ice we will definitely be back to see Dr. MK when it’s time to grow our family again.

She supported me and my husband along our fertility journey with tremendous expertise, compassion, patience, and respect of our interests. As a physician myself, I highly valued her exquisite bedside manner as well as her technical and medical knowledge and skills. She always made time for us, including answering all of my questions that arose along the way. She didn't push us to any one treatment, but instead listened as we shared our story, and we navigated the different options together. I couldn't imagine having any other doctor during this special time in our lives that required tremendous patience and trust. We are now completely in love with our daughter and are so glad that we chose Shady Grove Fertility to help us experience the miracle of life!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr McCarthy-Keith and her incredible team! Every appointment we were made to feel comfortable, informed and energized about the exciting process ahead. We loved Dr McCarthy-Keith's quiet confidence and ability to explain the process so we could understand. They held our hands and walked us through every step of the way and we never questioned what was next, what medicine we needed to take or when our next appointment would be. We loved that we felt like we were visiting friends/family when we would go into our appointments and they were always so positive and uplifting.
