First time for a colonoscopy and a bit nervous. The staff was very friendly and comforting. The anesthesiologist Dr. Dave was very nice. Dr. Patel was Great!!! Listens to the best music and put me totally at ease. I will always think of Dr. Patel and my colonoscopy every time I hear Neil Diamonds Cracklin Rosie!!!!

Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. In-person, Dr. Patel seemed professional. On the phone, he is abusive, unprofessional, inappropriate and dismissive. I asked for the phone number of his billing department - he was enraged and didn't let me speak. He said, "I don't usually answer questions like these but since you're so dissatisfied with my receptionist's response I'm doing the courtesy of telling you our billing is through a second party and they have 90 days to submit the claim. All right. Thank you. Goodbye. Then he hung up on me.

I saw Dr. Patel for abdominal pain and I had a great experience. Not only was he able to help me with my problems, but he made sure he heard me out. In addition, his office staff was helpful in setting up an appointment and helped check my insurance! Would definitely recommend him!

My wife had gone to Dr Devang Patel to set up appointment for Endoscopy and he gave the date the procedure will be done. The staff asked us to pay Doctor’s fees for the procedure on top of the visit fee which we had paid when we came to set up the appointment. At that time we didn’t have the amount the staff asked us to pay in cash or by check. We were told to pay the amount before the date of the procedure. When we called after a week to find out if we can come to the office to pay the money we were told that the appointment is cancelled due to some family emergency of Doctor. Next day we went to doctor’s office to request to give the prescription written by our physician. First the staff refused to give but after lot of appeal by my wife the original prescription was given back. My wife requested to refund the visit fee we paid as the appointment was cancelled by doctor.The staff at that time acted rudely with my wife and she said she will remove her name and will not refund money.… In short it was a bad experience which we plan to report our insurance company. Please think ten times before making any advance payments as the same thing may happen if the appointment is cancelled for any reason.

IMO He just wants to do scope after scope if your insurance will allow it. His staff is completely rude if you cancel (two weeks out mind you). Literally hung up on me.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor, but I'm sorry to say the me nor my daughter will be returning there. I had someone call to cancel my appointment because I was unable to do it. The lady who works in the office violated my privacy by telling the person who called that I had an outstanding balance of $100. I don't understand how, but that should've been discussed when I rescheduled my appointment and not with a caller over the phone who told her that they were calling FOR me.

Dr. Patel is the best overall, He helped me with my problems, & when he couldn't he went out of his way to find someone who was able to. I was serverely anemic to the point Dr. Patel couldn't understand how I was functioning through my everyday life. After several test, he found the problem. It took awhile But all turned out great. Dr. Patel took time out of his busy schedule & called me on his own time to make sure I was OK. Dr, Patel saved my life. Thank You

Dr. Patel is a great doctor but his office staff is incompetent and inept. They do not follow proper patient billing practices and how I sued that in this day and age they do not accept credit card payments. The office manager is extremely unprofessional and incompetent.

Dr pushes certain medications. When problems exceed dr looks for more and more appts. Not good. Staff is inept with billing and tried to charge me a $40 Co-pay for an endoscopy the next day. Buyer beware.

Dr. Patel was a life saver for me. He was able to fix my medical issue without any issues. I will on trust him with my gastro/blood issues.
