Dr. Devin La Joi Dickson, MD

I’m being charged for an office visit when it was supposed to be a well check up visit. She recommended medication to help with sleep, stress after asking how’s life in general. When I called to ask about the bill that’s when I was told she specifically told me that discussing anything in detail would turn it into an office visit. When she said no such thing. And when she asked how I was sleeping I told her I was hardly getting any( simple answer right?) and her billing lady told me she wrote I complained about trouble sleeping. The nerve. Glad I haven’t referred anyone to her because I’d be sorry.

doctor that is in hurry to kick you out for Labs, scanner or whatever, and when she get your report she will leave few words to front disk to call you and tell you that you have these problems. what you need? what is the next step? how to take care of the problem? that you have look somewhere else. trying to rich her to go with you over the report? forget it, you are just a number for her. front desk is there to get her money and that's it. I saw 5 stars, I was impressed but later on I noticed that she got them from family members or friends.

Dr. Dickson is my favorite doctor of all time! She is the only doctor I've been to where I don't feel rushed. She always takes her time to listen to all of my concerns and she is very sweet and relatable. I saw her the first time for a physical and they did several tests that other doctors never did. She got my anxiety under control which was really affecting my daily life. I've talked to Amanda and Phyllis on the phone and they were both very nice. One thing I love about this practice is that they always answer the phone. I've been having some health issues lately so I've had to call in more frequently than I'd like, but I have yet to get an answering machine! When I was having an urgent issue they got me in the next morning to see Dr. Dickson. The wait time is very reasonable as well. I have been searching for a primary care doctor for a couple of years and I'm glad I found Dr. Dickson. I highly recommend her.
