The village doctor is what my wife and I call him because he will stop by and help his patients who live in the village of Cooperstown. He has been the only only cardiologist who is a constant at Bassett. We owe him 20 years of life after a valve and stent in Joan and me.

Doctor Menzies put a WATCHER AND TAVER in me and now I only take a baby asperin a day. I am very happy I was sent to him. I only wish I can get an appointment in spring as opposed to winter.

My son made an appointment for this doctor to put a stent in my heart after I was told heart surgery was risky. I don’t have a scar on my wrist and I can walk my dogs up a steep hill. All because of doc M (I can’t spell his first name).

once a year is all we do because of the long drive from NC. Dr M saved my wife's life with an impalla pump and 3 stents when she was pronounced DOA while vacationing in NY. We don't expect much from life anymore but we DEMAND to see him every year.

doc M is called the doc for the hospital staff for a reason. I work in the system and he is very busy but always wishes me in the hallways. he saved my heart on a cold sunday at midnight when he put 3 stents in my heart and shocked me 6 times to bring me back. thank you from the bottom of my heart doc M - no pun intended.

He worked on my blockages with a gazelle or impala heart pump because I was not a bypass option. I walk my dog daily without breathing trouble all because of Dr M.
