Dr. Dharma Rose, DO

A lot of yelling at staff and patients. Other patients present. Patients can over heat negative comments. One patient complained outside the office that she was shoved by the doctor.

This doctor is unprofessional, overwhelmed, and plain mentally unstable.

My mother recently relocated to St. Ignatius Mt. from san diego and I found this Dr. from the reviews . I feel that one review that was noted while writing this was from someone who just dislike this person. I found Dr. Dharma to be very intuitive to my moms many complications, and her expertise in evaluating my Moms conditions, was well beyond any drs. she has visited in the past. I give dr. Dharma 5 stars for this. My mom is 91years old and not once did she dismiss any of my mothers concerns. Thank you Dr. Dharma for taking your time with my Mother.

I felt like she really cared about me and allowed the time to understand me and offer me both regular medicine and other things to help me. I realized that medications were not the only answer to fixing my problems.

Walking into office to find dog feces and patient files scattered on the floor. Dr rose proceeded to verbally slandering the patient who was currenty in the office. I literally walked in and strait back outside . Would not recommend her practice to anybody in need of medical assistance. Very, very concerning !

I am a registered nurse with experience working with patients from newborn to end of life. I have had joint pain, back pain, weight gain. This was a wonderful visit. Sharma took the time to listen, adjusted one of my supplements and explained side effects of the ibuprofen, along with great instruction on how to decrease this medication. She never once made me feel awkward or bad for having pain. Sharma also spent time hands on with osteopathic treatment. I believe it's called OMT? She gave me options, explained things to me. She also diagnosed my grain/wheat intolerance and had suggestions on alternate quick and easy things that fit in my busy grab and go type days.

Among other things, Dr. Dharma correctly diagnosed a my gluten intolerance (allergy) that had caused several related health problems including; sometimes debilitating acid re-flux, sinus congestion, and unwanted weight retention. Within one week of changing my diet, the acid re-flux went away and rarely ever comes back. The sinus congestion went away almost immediately. And, within six weeks of removing gluten foods from my diet, I lost 20 pounds. I would highly recommend Dr. Dharma to anyone who wants to have greater awareness and control over their health.

I appreciated her detailed interview and careful attention to treating my issues. She went above and beyond what one would expect from a visit with a doctor.

Dr. Defrese's treatment was excellent. Do not expect to see a white coat and stethescope. She is a very homey person and lacks the sterile aloofness of many MD physicians. She also has degrees in pharmacy and toxicology (I think) so she is much better trained than most physicians. She doesn't do everything, but will tell you if she doesn't want to handle your case.

I have some chronic health conditions which I see several doctors for. When I first visited this doctor I thought she seemed very caring and took a lot of time with me. However, later when I had a flare up of one of my conditions, she was very unprofessional and rude. She also did not know what to do for a more serious medical condition.
