After graduating from high school, she headed to Montclair State University in NJ, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Go, Red Hawks! From there, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, she worked as an Associate Dentist in Midland, TX, and later relocated to Austin, TX. Dr. Shyani believes that dentistry is a mixture of art, science, and engineering. That is why she loves being in the field. She enjoys being a Dentist for multiple reasons, but her favorite part is the ability to put an instant smile on someone’s face. Whether she provided immediate pain relief, or created a new esthetic smile, bringing her patients joy is the most rewarding part of what she does. Dentistry has also fulfilled her dream of being in healthcare while utilizing technology. She embraces the Austin …culture with her partner and enjoys all the outdoor activities the city has to offer.
